Artificer Unhindered Home Pages Company DetailsInfinite Group is the trading name of Artificers Unhindered Ltd. We became a limited company in 2002. From 1992 to 1998 we traded as Infinite Beads and then as Infinite Group once we started selling craft materials until 2002, both companies were partnerships. | Company HistoryThe company was set up by David & Jenny Collins during there last year they were at Nottingham Trent University in 1992. Both active member of the Christian Union at the city site they met during their first year of studies. Jenny was studying graphic design and David civil engineering (I now it has nothing to do with beads). During the second year whilst David was on placement with the NRA (National Rivers Authority now part of the Environment Agency) they started working on the idea of the company. The original plan was to set up a craft exchange for students as Jenny was very arty and for David setting up a company was in the blood. With limited success selling student crafts the small box of beads that they had as a side line proved a lot more popular. During the first year of trading in the student union and at craft fairs, our range of beads expanded and that's what we became known for. At the end of our courses we were invited to the first Soul Survivor, a new Christian youth event, and Greenbelt , a well established Christian arts festival, to sell beads this was the inspiration for us to open a shop in Nottingham. | Company FutureIn the next year as well as getting the store full up and running and there a lot of beads and craft items to catalogue. We would like to open up a section for crafters to display pictures of there work and exchange ideas. An area for youth workers to exchange craft ideas and things that worked for them, we will also be writing up some events and crafts that we have work on in the last few years. |
